I AM: One of many many of OneTour ReadyLULA.XYZ/OommoOUnited Kingdom / Eritrea

OommoO, an acronym for One-of-many-many-of-One, depicts the true life events of a 1st generation immigrant, as she navigates the duality of two cultures, her Habesha (Eritrean/Ethiopian) heritage and British identity.

When you’ve left everything behind for the promise of something better, and the something ‘better’ isn’t ‘better’, what do you have? When you have nothing but memories and memory is fading, what do you have?
OommoO is a poetic reflection of an emotionally visceral experience unpacked through an Afro-Futuristic East African lens … a new kind of storytelling. It has been nominated for awards, performed at Summerhall, Edinburgh, selected for The Pleasance theatre’s  Best and featured as part of Soho Theatre’s Soho Rising festival. In 2025 it will have a UK tour and in 2026 tour Australia.
