Vingers is a resourceful teenage boy navigating life through petty crime, balancing his dreams of a better future with the harsh realities of his environment. Set in Hanover Park, a neighbourhood overshadowed by its reputation, Back Streets is a  poignant and compelling 30-minute comedy-drama.

Aquarius Motion Pictures was founded by Yusra Peters in 2020. Back Streets has been developed through support from the National Film and Video Foundation, the Western 

Cape Department of Cultural Affairs and Sports, and a grant from the Bertha House Community Reserve.
