When Bokang is betrayed by her husband and her sister, she takes revenge by burning them alive. A child, is left behind, who reminds Bokang of her inability to conceive. A spiritual guide, Ngono, appeases Bokang’s actions in the physical realm by reminding her that she is more than what she has done.
Previously Mmaotoanafinyela has been part of a play reading at Artscape New Voices, 2024 and had its debut performance at Suidoosterfees, 2025.
