The Travellers of the Pink Whale: Live Painting on Found Material. A 1,5 hour live art performance in which Chaná paints a unique piece on discarded wood Using spray paint and mixed media techniques, the artwork draws inspiration from his 2023 exhibition (Os Viajantes da Baleia-Cor-de-Rosa), thematically focused on environmental consciousness and reimagined futures.
Mundo Profundo – Participatory Recycling Workshop. This 3-hour interactive workshop for children (ages 6–12) and their families to bring their own recyclable waste and transform it into collaborative art.
Chaná de Sá’s artistic practice is strongly anchored in environmental education, youth empowerment, and community-based outreach work seen in Green Art Mafalala: Together for Our Planet (2021), a British High Commission–funded project linked to the COP26 Climate Summit, a partnership with Associação IVERCA and the Maputo City Council, Chaná led a 30-day artistic residency with workshops on plastic waste re-use and community art interventions using solid waste materials.
Mundo Profundo (2023), a recycling art workshop held at CCFM, and The Other Face of the World (2023), transformed plastic collected from beaches into public artworks, engaging youth and families, blending education and environmental stewardship with accessible hands-on art practices
