BLIND SPOT

A musical, Blind Spot is a poetic and political journey providing a new perspective on our social body, linking unspoken history to implicit prejudices. It explores the economic and political implications of antiblack racism and white privilege. Blind Spot stands out for its innovative approach, combining poetry, politics and performance, enlightening the grey areas of our collective consciousness. Ishyo Arts Centre, established in 2007, is driven by a commitment to fostering creativity, cultural heritage, and artistic excellence. Ishyo promotes diverse forms of artistic expression, including theatre, dance, music, literature, and film, supporting capacity-building initiatives for artists and cultural practitioners. Ishyo is a leader in arts in education, social change, and community engagement, playing a significant role in revitalising Rwanda’s cultural landscape, nurturing talent, and creating opportunities for intercultural exchange.
